Delta Lithium Limited (ASX: $DLI) has released an update on the drilling activities at its Yinnetharra and Mt Ida Lithium Projects in Western Australia. The company reported significant drilling results, including thick lithium mineralisation and high-grade gold intercepts at both projects. The Yinnetharra Lithium Project, an early stage exploration project covering a large 505km2 area, has shown promising results with a Maiden Resource Estimate (MRE) of 25.7Mt @ 1% Li2O reported in December 2023. On the other hand, the Mt Ida Lithium Project, located in the Goldfields region, has demonstrated an existing MRE of 14.6Mt @ 1.2% Li2O and additional Gold MRE of 3.1Mt @ 4.1 g/t Au reported in November 2023.
Our exploration success carries on at Yinnetharra and Mt Ida, as Delta continues to build confidence in our geological models, both within and outside the existing MRE's. The team at Yinnetharra has 4 rigs in at Malinda, and is diligently and systematically mapping and doing soils across the wide expanse of our project tenure including early reconnaissance at Lyons River. Heritage surveys to commence next week at Jamesons will enable us to mobilise a drill to that very prospective target in short order. And at Mt Ida, pleasing results with consistent Lithium grades and widths in resdef drilling. And everyone loves high-grade gold assays!
Delta Lithium's drilling update from Yinnetharra and Mt Ida has revealed promising results, with thick lithium mineralisation and high-grade gold intercepts. The Yinnetharra Lithium Project has shown significant progress with a Maiden Resource Estimate (MRE) of 25.7Mt @ 1% Li2O, and ongoing drilling demonstrating thick continuous lithium mineralisation from surface. The Mt Ida Lithium Project has also delivered positive results, including an additional pegmatite within the Sister Sam area that is lithium mineralised from surface, and thicker than anticipated pegmatite intercepts. The company's extensive multi-rig campaign throughout 2024 aims to test additional targets and build on the Maiden Resource released in December 2023, reflecting Delta Lithium's commitment to advancing its exploration and development workstreams.
