Dreadnought Resources Limited (ASX: $DRE) has completed drilling and geophysical surveys at Tarraji-Yampi, located in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. A total of 6 diamond holes (1,524.8m) were completed to test 6 Cu-Au volcanogenic massive sulphide targets around the Orion deposit. Preliminary interpretation of down hole EM surveys has identified 4 off-hole conductors associated with prospective horizons, including a 50,000S conductor spanning ~150m X 150m, located ~100m down dip of a 3.2m thick gossan intersected in KMDD004 and interpreted to be the structural offset of Orion. Niobium focused drilling at Mangaroon is set to commence this week. Assays are expected in August 2024.
The six hole diamond drill program has intersected mineralisation in every hole. Three of the six targets were effectively tested. In addition, three off-hole conductors have been identified, all associated with prospective peperite margins including the strongest DHEM conductor to date of 50,000S believed to be the structural offset of the main Orion lode. OR2 and ORI also remain priority targets with off-hole conductors identified down dip of mineralisation. The EIS co-funded IP survey commenced with orientation lines completed over Grants and Orion with three of the regional exploration lines completed. This survey will assist in determining if IP is an effective tool to utilise for targeting Cu-Au mineralisation at Tarraji-Yampi.
Dreadnought Resources Limited has completed drilling and geophysical surveys at Tarraji-Yampi, identifying 4 off-hole conductors associated with prospective horizons. The company is awaiting assays expected in August 2024. The preliminary interpretation of the surveys has revealed priority targets for follow up drilling, including the new Orion Offset target and off-hole conductors at ORI and OR2. The EIS co-funded IP survey will assist in determining the effectiveness of IP for targeting Cu-Au mineralisation at Tarraji-Yampi. The project, unexplored since the 1970s, has genuine camp scale potential with multiple priority Orion look-alikes defined through geochemical and geophysical surveys. Dreadnought's ambitions include the commencement of RC drilling at Gifford Creek Carbonatite Nb-REE and moving loop EM survey at Tiger Cu-Au, Zn-Ag in July, with results from drilling at Tarraji-Yampi and further target generation and definition work at Mangaroon Au expected in August 2024.
