Energy World Corporation (ASX: $EWC) Gas Sales Agreement Update
Energy World Corporation (ASX: $EWC) has announced the extension of the Interim Gas Sales Agreement with PT PLN Energi Primer Indonesia (PLN EPI) through its subsidiary, Energy Equity Epic (Sengkang) Pty. Ltd. (EEES). The extension period has been prolonged from 31 August 2024 to 30 September 2024, with an accompanying increase in the gas price from US$5.08 per MMBtu to US$6.00 per MMBtu. Additionally, the potential daily gas delivery volume has been raised from 40MMscf/d to 50MMscf/d, while the 'Take or Pay' contracted amount has been adjusted from 85% to 78%.
Executive Commentary
The negotiation for a longer term Gas Sales Agreement is ongoing, and we anticipate its conclusion in the near future. We will provide further updates upon the finalization of agreements related to the longer term Gas Sales Contract.
