Far East Gold Ltd (FEG) is pleased to announce the extension of the high-grade gold-silver zone at the Woyla Copper Gold Project as part of the Phase 2 drilling program. Recent assay results have confirmed the down-dip extension of the high grade gold-silver zone intersected within the Pertama vein located in the Rek Rinti prospect area. The Phase 2 drill program has confirmed numerous sites of discrete high grade gold and silver within the Pertama vein and the Agam zone over a combined lateral distance of more than 700m. The veins have an apparent maximum thickness of 38m and a vertical extension to greater than 150m depth.
The Phase 2 drilling program at the Woyla Copper Gold Project has delivered exciting results, confirming the extension of the high-grade gold-silver zone. The down-dip extension of the high grade gold-silver zone within the Pertama vein is a significant development for the project. The confirmed lateral and vertical extensions of the high-grade mineralization demonstrate the project's potential for substantial resource growth. The Company is committed to further testing the zone at depth and along strike as part of the ongoing Phase 2 drill program.
Far East Gold's Phase 2 drilling program at the Woyla Copper Gold Project has successfully extended the 'sweet spot' zone of high-grade gold and silver mineralization within the Pertama vein. The confirmed lateral and vertical extensions of the high-grade mineralization indicate the project's significant growth potential. The Company's commitment to further testing the zone at depth and along strike reflects its dedication to maximizing the project's resource base. With the high-grade zone remaining open to the southwest, there is optimism for additional intersections of high-grade mineralization within the Pertama vein. The Company's ongoing exploration efforts aim to confirm the continuity of the high-grade mineralization between drillholes and to capitalize on the project's promising prospects.
