Firetail Resources Limited (ASX: $FTL) has requested a trading halt from the ASX effective immediately. The halt is pending an announcement regarding a proposed acquisition and capital raising. The trading halt is expected to last until the release of the announcement, no later than the commencement of trading on Thursday, 6 June 2024.
Firetail Resources trading halt request commentary
The Board of Directors of Firetail Resources Limited has authorized the request for a trading halt from the ASX. The halt is in anticipation of an upcoming announcement related to a proposed acquisition and capital raising. The Company Secretary, Craig McNab, confirmed that the Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, nor any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
