First Lithium Ltd (ASX: $FL1) has announced the receipt of high-grade assay results for fifteen diamond drill holes and sixteen reverse circulation (RC) pre-collar holes at the priority 1 lithium prospect at Blakala, located in the Gouna permit, Mali. The results include high to very high-grade Li2O intersections from the diamond drill holes BDFS25 to BDFS39 and RC pre-collar holes BRCD01 to BRCD16, with the aim of intersecting the Main pegmatite body at approximately 100m below the surface. The company has completed a total of 8,368m of Diamond and 3,838m of RC drilling for the current phase.
The Managing Director of First Lithium Ltd, Venkat Padala, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing assay results, highlighting the significant grades identified in the latest sample results from the laboratory. He also mentioned that the remaining results are expected in the coming month, with the company's maiden JORC resource to follow. A total of 664 samples, including QA/QC samples, have been received, and good correlation was found on all QA/QC samples.
