Gateway Mining Ltd (ASX: $GML) has reported significant results from follow-up Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling at the Duplex target within its 100%-owned Montague Gold Project in Western Australia. The company has successfully intersected a zone of fresh bedrock gold mineralisation over 200m of strike at the new Duplex Prospect, with significant assays indicating promising mineralisation potential.
Gateway's Managing Director, Mr Mark Cossom, expressed satisfaction with the results, stating, 'We are pleased to see further robust intersections of shallow bedrock gold mineralisation in follow-up RC drilling at Duplex. While this prospect is still at an early stage of evaluation, we have now defined significant gold mineralisation over a strike length of at least 200m with clear indications that it remains open for at least 500m. We are looking forward to planning the next phase of follow-up drilling to further scope out the size of the mineralised structure and advance this exciting new area towards a resource drilling phase.'
