GBM Resources (ASX:GBZ) has reported important progress in its Mt Coolon Gold Project in Queensland. This project is part of a joint venture with Newmont, focusing on exploratory drilling. The recent activities have yielded promising results, highlighting potential mineralization in new areas.
GBM Resources is advancing its Mt Coolon Gold Project through a joint venture with Newmont. Significant progress has been made with the completion of 6,500 meters of the planned 10,000-meter drilling program. The exploration has identified mineralized epithermal veining, suggesting extensions of existing mineral systems. Newmont has fulfilled its minimum commitment under the Farm-in agreement, aiming to acquire a 51% interest. GBM is focused on increasing its resource base to transition into a mid-tier gold company, with further drilling planned to explore additional targets.
The recent drilling at Glen Eva and Eva Lake has confirmed the presence of significant mineralized zones. We are encouraged by the discovery of epithermal veining, which indicates an extension of the mineral system. Our partnership with Newmont continues to enhance our exploration capabilities and strategic positioning in the gold sector.
