Gold Mountain Limited (ASX: $GMN) has announced the reception of 55 stream sediment samples from the Agua Boa and Bananal Valley tenements in the Salinas II Project. The samples revealed peak values of 672 ppm lithium in Bananal Valley and 226 ppm in Agua Boa, with 54 anomalous results out of 55 samples. The company is now planning a future program of mapping and soil sampling to develop drill targets, and will obtain landowner access for detailed work.
The combination of very highly anomalous lithium results within the known pegmatite bearing tenements is considered to be very encouraging for another discovery within the Lithium Corridor published by Latin Resources. Proximity of GMN tenements to Latin Resources does not guarantee same or similar levels of results however it does help GMN target exploration programmes.
Gold Mountain Limited (ASX: $GMN) has received strongly anomalous LCT pegmatite assays in the lithium valley of the Salinas Project, indicating the potential for significantly mineralized LCT pegmatites. The company plans to obtain landowner access for detailed work to develop drill targets and conduct mapping and soil sampling to define the sources of the high order stream sediment anomalies. The highly encouraging results suggest the potential for another discovery within the Lithium Corridor published by Latin Resources, although proximity to Latin Resources does not guarantee similar levels of results. Gold Mountain's diversified project portfolio in Brazil and Papua New Guinea positions the company for active exploration and potential discoveries in rare earth elements, niobium, lithium, nickel, copper, and gold.
