Imricor Medical Systems, Inc. (ASX:IMR) has partnered with Swiss software company ADIS SA to commercialize AI modules integrated into its NorthStar 3D mapping system. The agreement includes upfront and ongoing annual license fees. The NorthStar system aims to improve interventional cardiac MRI procedures, with a commercial launch planned for 2025.
Imricor Medical Systems has entered a license agreement with ADIS SA to integrate AI into its NorthStar 3D mapping system, enhancing its applications in cardiac and potentially other medical fields. The partnership builds on a previous Joint Development Agreement, with a focus on launching in Europe, the USA, and the Middle East by 2025. Despite current regulatory approvals pending, Imricor is advancing its strategy to position NorthStar as a central tool for MRI-guided procedures. The company is also continuing collaboration with major MRI equipment vendors to expand iCMR labs, aligning with its vision to revolutionize interventional cardiac procedures.
The first AI module aimed for commercialization automates heart segmentation, reducing the time for this task from 20 minutes to a few seconds during iCMR procedures.
