International Graphite's announcement of a $4.5 million government grant marks a pivotal advancement in its strategy to become a leading supplier of processed graphite products. Stage 1 of the project involves constructing a facility with a 3,000 tonnes per annum capacity, with plans to expand to around 10,000 tonnes per annum in Stage 2. This facility will enhance Australia's graphite processing capabilities, supporting the electric vehicle and energy sectors. The company aims to leverage its technical excellence and ESG performance to tap into markets in the US, Europe, and Asia, strengthening its position in the global graphite market.
