Jervois Global Limited (ASX: $JRV) has reported positive results from the U.S. Department of Defense Defense Production Act Title III funded extensional drilling at its 100%-owned Idaho Cobalt Operations (ICO). The drilling has confirmed the potential for resource growth, with strong cobalt-copper-gold mineralization over mineable widths outside existing reported resource wireframes. The company's deepest targeted drilling to date at ICO has yielded encouraging results, including significant mineralization and width representing the deepest intersection of the main mineralized horizon to date at ICO.
The recent drilling results at ICO have provided positive indications of resource extension both along strike and at depth. The significant mineralization and width from the drilling program represent a promising development for the potential extension of the RAM deposit. The company is pleased with the continuity of prospective mineralization across all completed holes, which consolidates mineralization confidence across a significant area. We have temporarily paused the underground drilling program at ICO while working with the U.S. Forest Service to recommence underground activities.
