Kalgoorlie Gold Mining (ASX:KAL) has started aircore drilling at two new exploration target areas, Kirgella West and Kirgella East, within the Pinjin Gold Project on 9 October 2024. The program aims to cover up to 4,500 m across priority target areas over a two-week period.
This marks KalGold's first systematic assessment of the gold potential of the greater Pinjin Project area. The company is focusing on the southern part of the Laverton Tectonic Zone (LTZ), which has been underexplored due to poor surface exposure and limited historic exploration efforts. By applying a scientifically rigorous approach, KalGold aims to increase its chances of success and make significant discoveries in the area.
