Kina Securities (ASX: $KSL) corrects forecast NPAT figures after customer fraud incident

Correction to Earnings Impact
Kina Securities Limited (ASX: $KSL I PNGX:KSL) has issued a correction to its forecast NPAT figures following a customer fraud incident. The revised forecast NPAT for the half year ending 30 June 2024 is PGK41.2m to PGK42.9m, and for the full year ending 31 December 2024 is PGK109.5m to PGK111.2m. The company also stated that its underlying business performance, excluding the impact of the fraud event, continues to track in line with plan and analyst consensus.
Executive Commentary
The errors in the forecast NPAT figures were due to an inadvertent mistake in the previous announcement. We want to assure our stakeholders that our business performance, apart from the impact of the fraud incident, remains on track as per our expectations and the consensus of analysts.
