Kingfisher Mining Limited (ASX:KFM) has reported high grade base metal surface sampling results at the Ring Well prospect, with copper values of 20.2% and 21.6% in an outcropping surface zone. The prospect has not been extensively explored beyond surface sampling, and the company is currently conducting further investigations to expand the strike length and assess mineralisation at depth.
The rockchips at Ring Well compliment the additional base metal opportunities already identified at Kingfisher. The very high grades in addition to the mineralisation being untested by drilling or ground-based geophysics. Moreso the Ring Well mineralisation occurs 12.3km from the MW2 REE mineralisation and 5.4km from the Kingfisher base metal mineralisation. Work is on-going, especially in light of the copper mineralisation identified in the recent co-funded diamond drilling to establish the context of the copper seen widely over the Mick Well tenure.
Kingfisher Mining's recent announcement highlights the high grade copper rockchip results at the Ring Well prospect, indicating the potential for significant base metal opportunities. The company is focused on expanding the strike length and evaluating mineralisation at depth. With ongoing investigations and the success of previous exploration activities, Kingfisher aims to further enhance its base metal and rare earth elements (REE) projects in the Gascoyne region. The company's ambitious exploration program and the identification of multiple mineralisation opportunities position it for potential growth and value creation in the future.
