Kingsgate Consolidated provides update on TAFTA arbitration award
Kingsgate Consolidated Limited (ASX: $KCN) has announced a joint agreement with the Kingdom of Thailand to defer the Arbitral Award under the Thailand-Australia Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA) until 30 September 2024. The extension reflects the parties' commitment to expediting negotiations for an amicable resolution of the dispute.
Executive Chairman's Statement on TAFTA Arbitration Award Deferral
The Arbitral Award under the Thailand-Australia Free Trade Agreement will continue to be deferred until 30 September 2024, as per the joint agreement with the Kingdom of Thailand. This extension demonstrates our dedication to reaching a mutually beneficial resolution through sincere negotiations.
