Kuniko Limited (ASX: $KNI) has announced the results of ground electromagnetic surveys at the Ertelien Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project in Southern Norway. The surveys have identified five new conductive horizons within the Ertelien intrusion, indicating the potential for expansion of high-grade sulphide mineralisation. The discovery underscores the promising exploration potential at Ertelien for extending semi-massive to massive sulphide mineralisation.
Antony Beckmand, CEO of Kuniko, expressed delight with the results of the electromagnetic surveys, highlighting the promising opportunities for expanding high-grade resources at Ertelien. The company plans to target these newly identified conductors in future drilling campaigns to further explore and expand their resource base.
The ground electromagnetic surveys at Ertelien have revealed five new conductive horizons, indicating the potential for expanding the high-grade sulphide mineralisation. The conductors will be ground truthed as part of the surface mapping and sampling field program, informing the identification of new drill targets at the Ertelien intrusion. Kuniko aims to expand upon the existing 23Mt inferred JORC Mineral Resource Estimate and upgrade resources from inferred to indicated through future drilling campaigns. The company's commitment to ethical sourcing and a net zero carbon footprint, along with operations in Norway where 98% of electricity comes from renewable sources, positions it well for sustainable and responsible mining practices in the battery metals sector.
