Legacy Minerals Holdings Limited (ASX: $LGM) is pleased to announce the completion of extensive geochemistry and geophysics work at its 100%-owned Fontenoy Project (EL8995), NSW. The company, in partnership with Earth Al, has defined high-conviction magmatic PGE-Ni-Cu drill targets, including a significant 5km2 untested PGE anomaly. The ground gravity survey has been completed, and a diamond drill rig is being mobilized to the site for the upcoming drill campaign.
Legacy Minerals' CEO & Managing Director, Christopher Byrne, expressed satisfaction with the progress made at the Fontenoy Project. He highlighted the impressive results of the geochemical sampling programs and the significance of adding Platinum Group Elements to the critical minerals list. Byrne also emphasized the company's objective of delivering discovery opportunities for shareholders and the excitement surrounding the advancement of the Fontenoy Project towards further drilling.
The completion of geochemistry and geophysics work at the Fontenoy Project has defined high-conviction magmatic PGE-Ni-Cu drill targets, with a significant 5km2 untested PGE anomaly. The reconnaissance rock chip results and expanded soil sampling geochemical survey have delineated extensive zones of elevated Pd, Pt, and Au, along with other pathfinder elements. The ground gravity survey has shown a high gravity anomaly across a 1.5 km X 1.5 km area. The upcoming drilling campaign is anticipated to commence imminently and is expected to further refine locations of prospective host rocks for magmatic PGE-nickel-copper mineralization. Legacy Minerals aims to capitalize on the discovery opportunities and is excited about the progress at the Fontenoy Project.
