Lincoln Minerals Limited (ASX:LML) has submitted a comprehensive proposal to the South Australian Government as part of the Government's Green Iron and Steel Strategy Expression of Interest (EOI) process. The proposal outlines the development of a 1.1 billion tonne Green Iron (magnetite) Project, which is considered a core component for South Australia's Green Iron and Steel strategy.
Lincoln's Chief Executive Officer Jonathon Trewartha stated, 'Lincoln's Green Iron Project is underpinned by our magnetite project, which we understand is the best potential magnetite supply source for the South Australian Government's proposed domestic Green Iron and Steel supply chain. The project aims to produce 6Mtpa of high-quality magnetite concentrate to supply both domestic and potential global demand requirements from Green Steel supply chain participants. We are commencing the next phase of our Green Iron Partnering process, seeking to engage with domestic and global steel industry participants to develop this project.'
