Mako Gold Limited (ASX:MKG) has reported exceptional rock chip sampling results at the Komboro Prospect within the Napié Project in Côte d'Ivoire. The recent mapping program by Mako geologists has identified very high-grade gold zones, including samples with 170g/t Au, 41.92g/t Au, 6.27g/t Au, 4.63g/t Au, and 3.48g/t Au. These results have highlighted the potential for resource growth and the identification of new high-grade targets for future drilling.
The exceptional results of our ongoing mapping and rock chip sampling program at Komboro provides additional gold targets that warrant further work. These results further demonstrate the prospectivity of the northern part of the Napié Project and when combined with high-grade results from our previous scout drilling, highlight the potential to significantly grow the resource beyond the current 868,000 OZ gold resource.
