Mamba Exploration Limited (ASX:M24) has announced the confirmation of uranium mineralisation at its 7,302-hectare Canary Project in the eastern Athabasca Basin, northern Saskatchewan. The spring 2024 drill program revealed moderately anomalous uranium in drill holes CAN-24-001 and CAN-24-003, indicating hydrothermal uranium input. The Company is under a three-year earn-in option agreement with Standard Uranium Limited for the Project.
The confirmation of uranium mineralisation at the Canary Project, particularly in the initial phase of drilling, is an encouraging step forward. The results highlight the potential of this underexplored region, and we are eager to pursue further exploration to unlock its full value.
Mamba Exploration's spring 2024 drill program at the Canary Project confirmed the presence of uranium mineralisation and pathfinder elements, indicating a uranium-fertile system. The Company holds significant upside for discovery along three different and significantly underexplored conductor systems. Supplementary geophysical surveys over all three corridors will provide further target areas for phase Il and III drilling. The Project is situated in the Mudjatik geological domain and is significantly underexplored relative to adjacent magnetic low/EM conductor corridors. The Company is evaluating supplementary geophysical surveys across all three corridors on the Project to further refine drill targets for follow-up drilling. The Company's Executive Director expressed eagerness to pursue further exploration to unlock the full value of the underexplored region.
