Mandrake Resources (ASX:MAN) has announced a Maiden Inferred Resource of 3.3 million tonnes of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE) at its 100%-owned Utah Lithium Project. The company is leveraging existing wells and historical data to minimize costs and speed up development.
Mandrake Resources' Utah Lithium Project spans 93,755 acres and is strategically located in a historically rich mining district. The project currently holds an Inferred Resource of 3.3 million tonnes of LCE, based on data from existing wells. Mandrake is actively employing Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technologies, collaborating with partners like ElectraLith and Electroflow Technologies, which have produced high-purity lithium hydroxide. Supported by a US$1 million grant from the US Department of Energy, Mandrake is enhancing its resource estimates and pursuing additional funding. The company's strategic location, partnerships, and technological advancements position it well for future growth in the lithium sector.
