Mandrake Resources has announced a maiden JORC Code 2012 compliant Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 3.3 million tonnes of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent at its Utah Lithium Project. The project, covering 93,755 acres, leverages existing infrastructure in the resource-rich Paradox Basin. Utilizing Direct Lithium Extraction technology, Mandrake has produced 99.9% pure battery-grade lithium hydroxide. The company's future plans include re-entering wells to increase resource tonnage, conducting pump tests, and pursuing further government funding. A Scoping Study is set to commence in the first half of 2025, aligning with US incentives for lithium production. This development positions Mandrake Resources as a key player in the burgeoning US lithium market.
The Utah Lithium Project's maiden resource estimate marks a significant milestone for Mandrake Resources. Our strategic location in the Paradox Basin, alongside our use of Direct Lithium Extraction technology, positions us well to contribute to the US lithium supply chain. We are excited about the future development plans, including re-entering existing wells and collaborating with DLE partners to enhance our resource potential.
