Miramar Resources trading halt request
Miramar Resources Limited (ASX: $M2R) has requested a trading halt effective from Tuesday, 2 April 2024, in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1. The halt is to prevent trading on an uninformed basis and to facilitate an orderly market pending an announcement related to a proposed capital raising. The halt will remain in place until the earlier of the Company releasing the announcement or the commencement of trading on Thursday, 4 April 2024.
Executive Commentary on Trading Halt Request
The company has requested the trading halt to ensure that trading does not occur on an uninformed basis and to maintain an orderly market. This is in line with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, which allows companies to request a trading halt to facilitate the dissemination of important information to the market.
