Morella Corporation (ASX:1MC) has reported successful outcomes from its recent soil sampling at the West Wodgina Lithium Project. The project, in partnership with Sayona Mining, has revealed five new targets with lithium oxide assays up to 255 ppm. Further exploration, including a planned drilling program, is set to follow.
Morella Corporation has successfully identified five new lithium targets at the West Wodgina Project, a strategic location near the Wodgina Lithium Operation. Conducted in collaboration with Sayona Mining, the soil sampling program collected over 1,000 samples, analyzed for lithium and rare earth elements. The promising assay results, reaching up to 255 ppm Li2O, justify further exploration efforts. Morella plans to conduct a maiden drilling program to investigate the most significant anomalies. The project is part of Morella's strategy to develop lithium resources, capitalizing on the growing demand for battery minerals. The soil samples were processed by ALS Global, and results were verified by Morella's Exploration Manager, adhering to JORC guidelines.
The results from our soil sampling program indicate significant potential for lithium-bearing pegmatites. We are excited about the new targets identified and are moving forward with detailed assessments and a maiden drilling program to explore these promising areas.
