Mt Malcolm Mines (ASX: $M2M) has confirmed the presence of pegmatites in historic drill spoil at its Lake Johnston Project's tenure. The re-logging of collected spoil samples indicates more extensive pegmatite occurrences than originally documented. The regional geological setting strongly supports M2M's Project prospectivity. The Company intends to prioritize and carry out several staged exploration programs targeting Lithium and Rare Earth mineralization. The initial phase of conducting a field visit to confirm pegmatitic drill spoil and sampling of the historical Goldfields and Bullion's RAB drilling has been completed. Follow-up geological mapping, additional sampling of historical drill spoil, rock chip sampling, and sampling of any outcropping pegmatites is planned as a follow-up evaluation.
