New World Resources Limited (ASX: $NWC) has commenced a drilling program to test the very high-priority Bullhorn VMS Target, located just 350 meters along strike from its very high-grade Antler Copper Deposit in Arizona, USA. The initial drilling program aims to evaluate the potential resource expansion at the Bullhorn Target, characterized by strong coincident IP/magnetic anomalies, which resemble the geological and geophysical characteristics of the Antler Deposit.
The Managing Director of New World Resources, Mike Haynes, expressed enthusiasm for the drilling program, stating, 'The fact that we have commenced drilling within weeks of delineating the Bullhorn Target is testament to the considerable potential of this target. VMS deposits typically occur in clusters - so we believe Bullhorn provides us an excellent opportunity to discover additional VMS mineralisation.' Haynes also highlighted the company's plans for an initial 3-5 hole drilling program for around 1,500-2,000m, emphasizing the extensive pipeline of quality prospects that will be drill-tested in the coming months.
