Norwest Minerals (ASX:NWM) has discovered a significant zone of Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) mineralization at the Dales Gossan outcrop within the West Arunta Tamba prospect. Recent reverse circulation drilling revealed a 40-meter wide zone of near-surface VMS mineralization, with high levels of zinc and lead, and traces of copper and silver.
Norwest Minerals' recent discovery of a significant VMS zone at the Dales Gossan outcrop marks a promising advancement in their exploration activities within the West Arunta region. The company plans further reverse circulation drilling to explore this discovery, following aircore drilling at the Malibu prospect. Additionally, the Western Australian government's approval of Norwest's Exploration Incentive Scheme application will provide financial support for continued exploration. This scheme offers a 50% refund on drilling and mobilization costs, up to $180,000. Norwest aims to enhance their exploration efforts with an Electromagnetic ground survey and further drilling, targeting geophysical, geochemical, and structural anomalies. The company is poised to continue its strategic exploration, focusing on identifying economically viable mineral deposits, backed by governmental support.
Norwest's CEO, Mr. Charles Schaus, expressed enthusiasm about the results from the Tamba prospect, highlighting the potential for further mineral discoveries and upcoming assay results.
