Pan Asia Metals Limited (ASX: $PAM) is pleased to report the expansion of the KT East Lithium Prospect, with abundant lepidolite pegmatite zone identified over a 1.5km X 500m area. The prospect continues to show strong potential, with rock-chip sampling enhancing prospectivity and highly elevated Li pathfinder elements such as rubidium (Rb) and ceasium (Cs) being identified. The Managing Director, Paul Lock, expressed optimism about the extensive prospect and the impressive Li2O mod grades, indicating the potential for an extended project life and/or increased annual LCE production.
The KT Lithium Prospect is proving to be extensive, and the Li2O mod grades continue to impress. PAM's field team has begun a grid-based soil and rock-chip sampling and geological mapping program, with soil sampling being conducted on a 100m X 25m grid. Initial gridding reports have been very encouraging, and we await formal results before providing an update on the program in a week or so. We are also investigating drill sites, with several walk-up drill targets identified. Drilling is expected to start later this year. KT presents PAM a substantial extension to RK and BT prospects and, with the KT footprint already larger than RK and BT combined, KT has the potential to add substantial tonnes, which means potential for an extended project life and/or increased annual LCE production. These results are feeding into discussions with strategic partners, so the KT exploration success is timely.
The KT East Lithium Prospect expansion by Pan Asia Metals (ASX: $PAM) demonstrates the company's commitment to exploring and developing its lithium projects. The identification of an extensive lepidolite pegmatite zone, highly elevated Li pathfinder elements, and impressive Li2O mod grades indicates the potential for increased annual LCE production and an extended project life. The ongoing grid-based soil and rock-chip sampling, geological mapping program, and the planned drilling activities signify PAM's dedication to further evaluating the prospect's potential. The company's ambitions to capitalize on the soaring demand for battery minerals in the Asian region and its strategic positioning in South America highlight its commitment to sustainable energy and innovative, high-value products. PAM's continued progress and exploration activities at the KT prospect reflect its efforts to expand its global lithium resource sustainably and deliver in-demand products to the Li-ion battery market.
