Patagonia Lithium Ltd (ASX: $PL3) has announced outstanding assay results from the Formentera Lithium Project in Northern Argentina. The company received very high lithium assay results from the first drill well, JAM24-01, and great results from the second well, JAM24-04, with a specific gravity of 1.18gm/cm³ and 580ppm assay confirming high lithium content.
Phillip Thomas, Executive Chairman of Patagonia Lithium Ltd, expressed his delight at the outstanding assay results. He highlighted the immaterial difference in results between the two laboratories, attributing it to systemic and sampling error. Thomas emphasized the effectiveness of the company's QA/QC and the exceptional nature of the core encountered in well two, indicating high brine flow and strong conductivity.
The assay results from the Formentera Lithium Project have been exceptional, confirming high lithium content. The company is continuing drilling to approximately 300-350m depth to further assess the brine concentration. Patagonia Lithium Ltd also provided an overview of its other projects and exploration activities, highlighting the completion of surface sampling and MT geophysics, as well as the progress made in drill hole JAM24-01 and JAM24-02.
