Perpetual Resources Ltd (ASX:PEC) has successfully completed its maiden shallow due diligence drilling program at the Raptor REE Project in Brazil. The assay results have confirmed the presence of high-grade rare earth elements (REEs) both at the surface and subsurface, highlighting strong potential for Ionic Absorption Clay (IAC) hosted deposits.
Perpetual's Exploration Manager, Mr. Allan Stephens, expressed satisfaction with the compelling results achieved in a short span of time. The company has delivered high-impact evaluations, including significant intervals of up to 12m @ 4,601ppm TREO and Nd:Pr ratios of up to 35%. The majority of holes end in mineralisation, indicating strong potential at greater depths. The focus now shifts to infill drilling and deeper subsurface testing to scale up and position the projects for resource-ready milestones.
The completion of Perpetual Resources' maiden shallow drill program at the Raptor REE Project has confirmed the presence of high-grade REEs, particularly Neodymium-Praseodymium (Nd+Pr) rare earths, across all three project areas. The results indicate substantial potential upside at depth, with plans underway for a follow-up drill program and initial metallurgical testing. Positioned near Meteoric Resources' Tier 1 Caldeira ionic clay REE project, the Raptor Tenements show promising prospectivity. The company aims to advance the project towards a JORC-compliant resource, reflecting its commitment to exploring and developing critical minerals essential for global new energy requirements.
