Pivotal Metals Limited (ASX: $PVT) has released the results and interpretation of the magnetotellurio (MT) survey conducted across the Alotta and Midrim areas of its 100% owned Belleterre Angliers Greenstone Belt (BAGB) projects in Quebec, Canada. The survey has identified large conductive anomalies below the shallow Midrim and Alotta discoveries, validating the prospectivity of the host horizon and highlighting potential targets for follow-up work.
Managing Director, Mr Fairhall, expressed excitement about the MT survey results, emphasizing the support for the geological model that Midrim and Alotta are indicators of an extensive magmatic intrusion. He highlighted the potential for sizeable accumulations of sulphide mineralisation and the property's wide open discovery potential, both at depth and for on-strike surficial repeats of Midrim and Alotta. Mr Fairhall also mentioned the company's focus on advancing target prioritisation to design a program for drill testing the identified anomalies and other prospective areas within the 100% owned claim package at BAGB.
Pivotal Metals' MT survey in Quebec has outlined large conductive anomalies and an extensive host horizon, validating the prospectivity of the area. The company plans to prioritize targets for follow-up work, including historic VTEM reinterpretation prior to drill testing. The survey area represents only 5% of Pivotal's 100% owned 157km2 BAGB project, indicating significant potential for further exploration. The next steps involve follow-up reinterpretation of VTEM conductors, compiling drill data, and tightening the MT grid or gravity surveys to target favourable mineralisation areas with drilling. The company's focus on advancing target prioritisation and designing a program for drill testing demonstrates its commitment to exploring the full potential of the BAGB project.
