Power Minerals (ASX:PNN) has announced high-grade niobium, tantalum, and rare earth element mineralization at its Tântalo Project in Brazil. Initial sampling confirmed significant mineralization, with samples showing up to 47.3% niobium pentoxide and 25.0% tantalum pentoxide.
Power Minerals has confirmed high-grade niobium and tantalum mineralization at its Tântalo Project in Brazil. The company plans to initiate a maiden drilling program to further explore these findings. The project covers 12 permits and is located in Paraiba state. Power Minerals aims to produce niobium-tantalum concentrate using low-cost methods and is in the process of due diligence with COOTMAES. Future plans include detailed mapping and geochemical sampling to capitalize on the demand for these critical minerals.
The results from our initial reconnaissance sampling at the Tântalo Project are highly encouraging, confirming the presence of high-grade niobium-tantalum-REE mineralization. This aligns with our strategy to advance the Tântalo Project and shows the significant potential of the area. We are excited to move forward with further exploration activities, including a planned maiden drilling program.
