Ragnar Metals (ASX:RAG) has announced significant findings from its maiden reconnaissance rock sampling at three newly acquired uranium projects in Sweden. The projects, Flugen, Viken East, and Viken South, have revealed promising uranium and vanadium mineralization. Notably, the Flugen project returned rock assays with uranium content of up to 1,185 ppm U3O8.
Ragnar Metals has unveiled promising results from its reconnaissance rock sampling at the Flugen, Viken East, and Viken South uranium projects in Sweden. The Flugen project has shown high uranium content, while the Viken projects, located near major deposits, have confirmed significant historical uranium intersections. These findings are strategically important, expanding Ragnar's exploration footprint in Sweden. Moving forward, Ragnar Metals plans additional sampling and exploration, alongside compiling historical drilling data, to further assess the mineralization potential.
The strategic location of the Viken projects adjacent to Sweden's largest uranium-vanadium deposits is promising. These initial results justify further exploration to accurately map the uranium-rich shales.
