Raiden Resources Limited (ASX:RDN) has confirmed the extension of Target Zone 7 pegmatites along a north-west strike extent by 650m, indicating potential for Lithium-Caesium-Tantalum (LCT) mineralisation. The company plans to drill test key priority target areas during the maiden drilling program. The recent mapping and pegmatite analysis conducted by Raiden and CSA Global geologists across the Andover South Lithium Project tenements have revealed promising results.
Mr Dusko Ljubojevic, Managing Director of Raiden, stated, 'One of the key objectives of the follow-up mapping program was to determine the extent of target area 1 along the western strike extent. Target area 1 is the key target for the Company in the upcoming maiden drill program, where pegmatites are characterised by high fractionation and high-grade Li2O mineralisation. As a result, we have determined that the highly fractionated pegmatites on the western periphery of Target Area 1 may have been structurally offset, resulting in a north-western strike extent. This work has defined further high-priority targets which the Company will evaluate in the near future.'
Raiden Resources has identified a new high-priority target zone, Zone 7, at the Andover South Lithium Project, indicating potential for Lithium-Caesium-Tantalum (LCT) mineralisation. The company plans to drill test key priority target areas during the maiden drilling program. The recent mapping and pegmatite analysis have extended the known target zones and revealed the potential for mineralisation. The highly fractionated pegmatites in Target Zone 7 are considered priority targets for further evaluation. Raiden Resources continues to assess the Andover South project for additional potential target zones, with ongoing work parallel to the maiden diamond drilling program scheduled to commence in September 2024.
