Resolute Mining's Annual Ore Reserve and Resource Statement at 31 December 2023

Resolute Mining Limited (Resolute, the Company or the Group) (ASX: $RSG) has announced the maintenance of total mineral resources at 11.2 million ounces (Moz) of gold, with successful exploration at Syama North in Mali and Tomboronkoto in Senegal offsetting mining depletion. The total ore reserves decreased marginally to 4.4 Moz in line with expectations due to mining depletion across both operations. Syama North's ore reserves increased over 17% to 1.0 Moz, and measured and indicated mineral resources increased 47% to 2.7 Moz following successful drilling campaigns in 2023. In Senegal, the mineral resources at Mako decreased in line with mining depletion, while the maiden mineral resource estimate at the Tomboronkoto satellite deposit reported an additional 403 koz grading 1.2g/t.

Executive Commentary

Terry Holohan, CEO and Managing Director, commented, 'These results are in line with our expectations given the work we are conducting on our growth projects. At Syama, the exploration teams have been focused on the infilling of the 3.5 Moz Syama North project, raising the M&I to over 2.7 Moz, with first mining commencing later this year. We are also conducting detailed mine optimizations with an uplift in our ore reserve estimate to 1 Moz, and we expect further increases going forward. At Mako, the drilling of the first of our three major mineralization satellite targets, Tomboronkoto, resulted in a maiden mineral resource estimate of 403 koz, and drilling is continuing.'
