Rimfire Pacific Mining (ASX:RIM) has unveiled the development of its Rabbit Trap Scandium Project in central New South Wales, Australia. Located 50 kilometers north of their existing projects, this initiative aims to bolster Rimfire's presence in the critical mineral sector, focusing on scandium.
Rimfire Pacific Mining is advancing its Rabbit Trap Scandium Project, encompassing two exploration licenses over 310 square kilometers. With the Malamute prospect showing significant scandium mineralization, the company plans to drill-test additional anomalies in early 2025. An Option to Purchase Agreement with Javelin Minerals Limited could secure full ownership of a key license by 2026. This project is a pivotal component of Rimfire's broader strategy to establish a substantial scandium resource in New South Wales, aligning with their ambitions in critical minerals exploration.
The Rabbit Trap Scandium Project strategically aligns with our goal to build a globally significant scandium resource base in New South Wales. With the promising potential observed at the Malamute prospect and other magnetic anomalies, we are optimistic about the future development of this project.
