Rumble Resources Limited (ASX: $RTR) has announced the initial results from a diamond and RC drilling programme at the Western Queen Project. The drilling, which commenced in May 2024, aimed to test the continuity of multiple high-grade gold zones beneath the Western Queen South and along strike of the Western Queen Central deposits. The initial drilling programme at the Western Queen Project has revealed the potential for a new mineralised lode, indicating the project's prospectivity. Rumble Resources plans to continue the diamond core drilling programme to delineate and extend the known high-grade gold mineralisation below the Western Queen South deposit. The company also aims to test other potential high-grade shoots within the mining leases and review and update the 2021 Mineral Resource Estimate. The Western Queen Gold Project, located within a 100km radius of three operational gold processing mills, has historically produced 880,000t @ 7.6 g/t Au for 215,000oz.
