S2 Resources Ltd (ASX: $S2R) has received assay results for the second of two follow-up holes at the Goornong prospect, on its 100% owned Greater Fosterville project in Victoria, Australia. Hole SFVD0008 revealed several intervals of gold mineralisation, defining a distinct mineralised surface dubbed the Blackadder fault, which represents a discrete drill target for future follow up.
The detailed logging of all eight holes drilled to date has enabled the Company to identify what it believes is the same structure in four different holes, defining a consistent plane comprising a fault zone dubbed the Blackadder Fault. The gold intercepts associated with the Blackadder Fault are significant, and future drilling at Goornong will aim to test the strike and dip extents of this zone.
