Siren Gold Limited (ASX:SNG) has announced significant progress at its Auld Creek Project in Reefton. Metallurgical samples from the project have demonstrated excellent gold flotation recoveries ranging from 95-98% and potential for increased antimony recovery using lead nitrate as an activator. The Company's Managing Director and CEO, Victor Rajasooriar, expressed satisfaction with the results and outlined plans for further optimization work in the coming months.
These are excellent results as we progress our Reefton gold and antimony projects into the future. The commodity pricing outlooks for both metals are excellent and the introduction of antimony as a critical mineral brings additional potential benefits to New Zealand. We are now in the final stages of completing our Auld Creek mineral resource calculations following the drilling program earlier this year and expect to have that completed in the coming weeks. Concurrently, additional metallurgical testwork will be carried out to optimize the recoveries of antimony at Auld Creek.
Siren Gold's metallurgical test results at Auld Creek have demonstrated high gold recoveries ranging from 95.8% to 98.3%. Additionally, the use of lead nitrate as an activator has shown potential for significantly increasing antimony recovery, with a notable rise from 71.3% to 97.6%. The Company is set to commence additional optimization work in the fourth quarter of CY2024 to further enhance the recoveries of antimony at Auld Creek. These developments align with Siren Gold's ambitions to maximize the potential of its gold and antimony projects and capitalize on favorable commodity pricing outlooks for both metals.
