Southern Hemisphere Mining Limited (ASX: $SUH) has commenced significant work to advance the Llahuin Copper-Gold Project in Chile. The company aims to substantially increase the copper and gold endowment of the project from the current Independent Resource Estimate of 680,000t Copper equivalent, which was measured, indicated, and inferred categories done in 2013. The work includes refining 3D modeling, refining Curiosity and Cerro-Ferro Deeps drill targets, engaging metallurgical testwork consultants, and initiating a large 10m composite sampling program of all pulps from prior drilling.
The Company is pleased to announce the significant progress made in advancing the Llahuin Copper-Gold Project. The new results from grid rock chip sampling, engagement of metallurgical testwork consultants, and the upcoming drilling program demonstrate our commitment to enhancing the project's potential. We are focused on refining the 3D modeling and identifying compelling copper-gold targets for drill testing.
