Spartan Resources Limited (ASX: $SPR) has released an exploration update from recent drilling at its 100%-owned Dalgaranga Gold Project in the Murchison region of Western Australia. The update includes deep drilling hits of visible gold over 1km deep below the Never Never Gold Deposit, as well as significant intercepts from exploration and resource extension drilling at the high-grade Never Never Gold Deposit, West Winds Gold Prospect, and the Sly Fox Gold Deposit.
Spartan Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Simon Lawson, expressed enthusiasm about the latest intercept in drill-hole DGDH064, stating, 'This latest intercept in drill-hole DGDH064 is another fantastic development in our ongoing systematic exploration of the Never Never mineral system. While it's safe to say this is the deepest drill-hole we will be drilling from surface for the time being, we're absolutely delighted to see a plus-20-metre down-hole intercept of typical Never Never-style mineralisation with visible gold logged in two areas.' Lawson also highlighted the company's focus on building a long-term business, delivering shareholder returns, and maximizing return on capital.
The exploration update from Spartan Resources at the Dalgaranga Gold Project showcases significant intercepts and deep drilling hits of visible gold, indicating the potential for resource expansion and conversion. The company's focus on systematic exploration and the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer reflect its commitment to building a sustainable high-grade mine plan. With ongoing surface exploration activities and mining study work, Spartan Resources is poised to unlock the potential of the Never Never Gold Deposit and other key prospects. The company's ambitious 18-month exploration and strategic plan aims to target resource expansion, reserve definition, and near-mine exploration drilling, setting the stage for potential future production growth and long-term value creation.
