Stavely Minerals (ASX:SVY) has announced an exploration update on their Stavely Copper-Gold Project in Western Victoria, focusing on the Junction Prospect. The company has started diamond drilling to assess the structural controls of high-grade copper and silver mineralization found in previous shallow air-core drilling. The first diamond drill hole has confirmed two distinct styles of mineralization.
Stavely Minerals has provided an update on their exploration at the Junction Prospect of the Stavely Copper-Gold Project. The company is conducting diamond drilling to further investigate high-grade copper and silver mineralization. The first diamond drill hole confirmed two styles of mineralization and suggested a southward dip of the mineralized zone. A second drill hole is targeting further zones to the east and down-plunge. The Junction Prospect's potential discovery could significantly impact the Stavely Project, complementing the existing Mineral Resource at the Cayley Lode Deposit. Stavely Minerals aims to understand structural controls to guide future exploration and expand resources.
Our exploration at the Junction Prospect has so far confirmed the presence of copper-silver mineralization earlier than anticipated, which is a promising development. We are particularly encouraged by the two distinct styles of mineralization identified in the first diamond drill hole. Our ongoing efforts aim to better understand the structural controls of the mineralized zones and expand our exploration to the east and at depth.
