Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) has initiated Phase Two metallurgical testwork at its Rogozna Gold and Base Metals Project in Serbia. The focus is on the Shanac Deposit, following successful results from Phase One in 2021. The objective is to optimize metal recoveries and validate the proposed processing flowsheet for this significant resource.
Strickland Metals has embarked on Phase Two of its metallurgical testwork for the Rogozna Project, concentrating on the Shanac Deposit. This phase aims to improve upon the promising metal recovery results achieved in 2021. The Rogozna Project, fully owned by Strickland, is located in Serbia's Western Tethyan Belt. It features four large-skarn hosted deposits, with a significant estimated resource of 4.6 million ounces gold equivalent. The company is actively drilling, with several assay results pending, particularly from the Kotlovi Prospect, which has shown promising initial results. The ongoing testwork will help define geometallurgical domains within the Shanac deposit, aiming for completion by mid-2025. The results will feed into a scoping study for further project development, with additional sample selection underway at the Medenovac Prospect. This initiative highlights Strickland Metals’ commitment to enhancing the project's metallurgical understanding, potentially unlocking significant value.
The commencement of Phase Two testwork is a crucial step in advancing the Rogozna Project. We are focused on optimizing metal recoveries and confirming the processing flowsheet, which aligns with our strategic development goals.
