Sunshine Metals (ASX:SHN) has completed an important exploration RC drill program at the Truncheon and Highway East sites, part of the Ravenswood Consolidated Project. The program involved drilling nine holes totaling 1,830 meters to identify copper and gold mineralization. Significant findings include semi-massive sulphides with zinc at 14 meters from 40 meters in one hole. Further assay results are expected between November and December 2024.
Sunshine Metals recently concluded a drill program at the Ravenswood Project, achieving significant results such as the discovery of semi-massive sulphides with zinc. These results support the exploration model based on the nearby Highway Reward Mine. The company plans to conduct an electromagnetic geophysical survey in early 2025 to identify potential massive sulphide deposits. Further assay results are anticipated by the end of 2024. Sunshine Metals is focused on expanding its exploration efforts, with upcoming activities including participation in the Noosa Mining Conference and a resource update at Liontown.
The discovery of semi-massive pyrite and zinc mineralization is comparable to the mineralization halo at Highway Reward.
