Surefire Resources NL (ASX: SRN) has announced the completion of its maiden drilling program at the Phat Boy Copper prospect, part of the Yidby East project in Western Australia. The program intersected 50 meters of sulphide mineralization, indicating promising copper potential.
Surefire Resources has successfully completed an 11-hole, 672-meter drilling program at the Phat Boy Copper prospect, revealing substantial sulphide intersections. Located on the southern portion of exploration license E59/2426, the site had earlier shown native copper and sulphides. The company plans further analysis through laboratory testing for copper and other elements. While initial drilling has focused on surface anomalies, future exploration and geophysical surveys are anticipated to further assess the prospects. Surefire remains committed to advancing its exploration objectives and uncovering the full potential of the Yidby East project.
We are pleased with the initial results from the Phat Boy prospect which confirm the presence of sulphide mineralization over a significant interval. This is an exciting development for the Yidby East project and supports our strategy to unlock the potential of our exploration assets.
