We are exceptionally pleased to have commenced this lithium campaign, after a few false starts with prolonged unseasonable wet weather. The Company's maiden lithium RC campaign is primarily testing two prominent soils lithium, caesium and tantalum anomalies at the Central target and the Northwest target, both have been independently modelled as Priority One targets. RC drilling has commenced at the Central target, approximately 6 holes to 150m at each target have been planned. The Company looks forward to updates as we progress this exciting stage of exploration at Ida Valley and we would like to sincerely thank all our teams, from technical geoscience, drilling, and finance to getting to this stage.
TechGen Metals Limited has initiated a maiden lithium RC campaign at its Ida Valley Lithium and Gold Project in Western Australia. The project, strategically located in a highly prospective geological region, aims to test two priority LCT targets, Central and Northwest, along with a historic untested gold anomaly at Northwest. The company's Managing Director, Ashley Hood, expressed enthusiasm for the commencement of the lithium campaign and highlighted the planned RC drilling at the Central target. The project, situated in an emerging world-class lithium province, has previously been subject to soil sampling surveys and RC drilling targeting gold mineralization. The exploration update outlines the areas identified for testing, including the Northwest, Central, and Southern zones, each exhibiting significant lithium soil anomalies. The Company's focus on lithium, gold, and base metal projects reflects its strategic exploration efforts in Western Australia and New South Wales. The announcement provides insights into the project's regional prospectivity, historical exploration activities, and the ongoing test work to establish the lithium fertility of the Ida Valley Project.
