Tesoro Gold (ASX:TSO) has announced significant results from its recent drilling at the El Zorro Gold Project in Chile. The drilling program, aimed at both infill and extensional objectives, uncovered high-grade gold mineralization, notably achieving the highest-grade assay recorded at the Ternera Gold Deposit with an outstanding 924.00 g/t of gold over 0.50 meters.
Tesoro Gold's recent drilling at the El Zorro Gold Project has yielded remarkable results, demonstrating the potential to expand the mineralized zone and add additional resources. The project, located in Chile's Coastal Cordillera, already hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate of 1.3 million ounces. The latest findings have extended mineralization at Ternera and Ternera East, with the latter interpreted as a fault offset of the main deposit. Tesoro Gold is committed to further exploration to enhance resource classification and 3D modeling. The company, leveraging its strong local presence, aims for district-scale development of the El Zorro project, with continued drilling expected to support sustained resource growth.
The exceptional high-grade gold results from our drilling campaign at Ternera highlight the potential for further resource expansion. The presence of high-grade zones within the deposit is particularly encouraging.
