TG Metals Limited (TG Metals) (ASX: $TG6) has released an update on exploration activities at the Lake Johnston Li-Ni-Au Project in Western Australia. The company has received infill and extension soil geochemistry results for the Jaegermeister lithium prospect, defining several compelling lithium targets for the upcoming drilling program. The CEO, Mr. David Selfe, highlighted the significance of the new soil results and the potential for a much larger lithium mineralized system at Lake Johnston.
There are numerous lithium geochemical anomalies at Jaegermeister that cover a very large area of approximately 8km by 3km. The key aim of this infill and extension program has been to define the highest priority targets that will be tested in the upcoming drill program. The four priority targets identified are the largest and most geologically connected. The knowledge we have gained from the high-grade spodumene pegmatites at Burmeister has provided key understandings and it looks like our Burmeister discovery may be a small part of a much larger lithium mineralized system at Lake Johnston.
TG Metals has defined four priority lithium targets for the upcoming drilling program at Lake Johnston based on infill and extension soil geochemistry results. These targets are substantially larger and of higher tenor than the anomalies that delivered the Burmeister Discovery. The company's CEO, Mr. David Selfe, expressed optimism about the potential for a much larger lithium mineralized system at Lake Johnston. The next steps include staged drilling dependent on approvals and favorable weather conditions, with initial drilling expected to commence as early as April 2024. Additionally, the company has outlined plans for infill drilling at Burmeister, seismic trials, and the commencement of metallurgical testwork in the coming weeks. TG Metals remains focused on exploring for lithium, nickel, and gold at its Lake Johnston Project in Western Australia.
