TruScreen Group's new initiative
TruScreen Group (ASX:TRU) has announced a 5-year cervical cancer screening program in Vietnam. This collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Public Health Association and Gorton Health Services will start in early 2025. The program seeks to screen 260,000 women using TruScreen's non-invasive technology.
Overview and future outlook
TruScreen Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ho Chi Minh City Public Health Association and Gorton Health Services to launch a cervical cancer screening program in Vietnam. The program will begin in the first quarter of 2025, targeting 260,000 women in Ho Chi Minh City. Using TruScreen's innovative technology, the program aims to provide non-invasive, real-time screenings without the need for traditional pathology infrastructure. This initiative reflects TruScreen's commitment to enhancing cervical cancer detection in low- and middle-income regions, aligning with their mission to eliminate cervical cancer worldwide.
